OUR SERVICES INCLUDE:

• 
  To create awareness of the 523,000 children currently in the U.S. foster care program, and of those, the 114,000 children that are now eligible for adoption.
• 
  Informative brochures and pamphlets about foster care and adoption. (Go to our website www.forjamiesake.org and check out agencies listed under “links”)
• 
  Monthly training offered (to current foster/adoptive families)
• 
  Clothing closet (for emergency clothing and furniture needs by birthparents, grandparents, kinship care, utilized also by social workers and foster/adoptive families for children entering into foster care with little to no items at all)
•  
  “Luggage of Love” campaign. All children receive a piece of luggage when they receive clothing from our clothing closet.
• 
  Facilitate visits between birth parents and children while they are in foster care.
• 
  All God’s Children campaign (468 families through 468 churches in 468 days) Kick off was March 4, 2007
• 
  Hold birthday parties every month for children in foster care and at the Shelter of Hope who have birthdays in that month. (Second Saturday of every month)
• 
  “Pillow Pals” – children in care receive their own new standard size pillows and pillowcases.
• 
  Wishing Well-Allows children in the States (SNAP) Special Needs Adoption Program to make a wish and we work to have their wish granted. (The children in this program are “legal” orphans with parental rights already terminated due to no fault of their own.
