Nationally this week is being dedicated to praying for children in
foster
care, social workers, judges, and foster parents. Please ask your church
to recognize and set up special prayer services for the over
500,000 children
in the United States foster care system.
There are many ways to help:
*place flowers on the altar at your
church
*ask your Sunday school, women's
group, or youth group to say a special prayer
*join arm and arm in your
congregation during your regular service to lift the children in prayer
*hold a candlelight vigil for the
children in foster care
*collect personel hygiene items,
pillowcases, Bibles, etc. to donate to For Jamie's Sake to be given to the
children in foster care
The children in foster care think that they
don't have a prayer, let's change that!!
