As you all know, Mother’s Day is right around the corner. If you are looking for something special
for mom come join us for an afternoon filled with laughs, snacks (provided by Starbucks) and,
you guessed it, lots and lots of purses. You may even find something for yourself.

For Jamie’s Sake is having a handbag sale! Tickets for this event are $5.00 in advance or $10.00 at the door.  Your ticket will allow you access to an amazing afternoon of fun, shopping, and most important, supporting For Jamie’s Sake. New and gently used purses will be available. Name brands included (but not limited to) are Louis Vuitton, Dooney & Bourke and Liz Clairborne.

WHEN: Saturday, May 3rd 12 noon to 3 p.m.

WHERE: Ashland Fire Dept. on Carter Ave.
              (across from Ashland post office)

WHY: The proceeds from the sale will benefit

For Jamie ’s Sake so we may continue our mission. Our mission is to raise awareness and diligently
recruit new foster and adoptive families and tonormalize adoption as a means of creating a family.

This is a fundraising effort of For Jamie’s Sake so we can continue helping the children and families in our area. Currently there are 523,000 children across the U.S. in foster care. Of those, 114,000 are eligible for adoption. 

Kentucky has over 500 children currently waiting on their forever families.

An Angel A Day for 365 Days

In order to grow and continue serving the families and children, we are
kicking off a new fundraiser:
“An Angel a Day for 365 Days.”

We are seeking “Angels”, one for each day of the year, who can sponsor $10.00
or more for one day. It will cost us approximately $50.00 a day to operate if we are able to
relocate and provide the additional services mentioned above. You can sponsor a special

…day in recognition of your or a loved ones birthday, anniversary, graduation, or in memory
of a loved one. We will send a greeting card and an angel pin to the recipient or loved one and let them
know about your generous donation. In addition, you will be able to log on to our website and see the special
day you have chosen to dedicate. If you wish to make a donation to “An Angel a Day for 365 Days”,
simply send a donation of $10.00 (or whatever you feel appropriate) payable to “For Jamie’s Sake” & let us
know the special date that you have chosen. Be sure to include the recipient name and address.
