Curious about Zumba? Don't wonder anymore....JOIN THE PARTY!!!

Want to be a POSITIVE impact on a child's life? JOIN THE PARTY!!!

LOCATION: National Guard Armory on Lexington Ave in Ashland, KY
DATE & TIME: Saturday, July 10, 2010 from 12:00 - 2:00 p.m.

A donation of $10/adult & $5/child (18 & under) is greatly appreciated!!!

ALL PROCEEDS GO DIRECTLY TOWARD THE CAUSE!!!

CAUSE: FOR JAMIE'S SAKE Foster and Adoption Resource Center via awareness of the KY Adoption License Plate.... The adoption license plate will not only create awareness for the children waiting on what should fundamentally be theirs, a forever family, but for the cause of adoption in general.

Get ready for pumping music, awesome people, fun for the entire FAMILY, prizes, raffles, Zumba instructors from all over the tri-state area, a cardio-party for your body, & a feel-good workout for your soul!!!

Belk Fundraiser
6-10 AM  $5.00 per ticket

May 3rd

5th Annual Walk Me Home Event
 12-1 PM Judd Plaza (lunch provided)

           Join For Jamie's Sake, foster care agencies, churches, foster parents, and concerned citizens as we tie blue ribbons on the lamp posts on Winchester Ave.
(they will stay up the entire month of May to recognize May as foster care awareness month)

May 6th

National Day of Prayer
 At the Kyova Mall from 12-1 PM

May 12th

Dairy Queen fundraiser
Eat at Dairy Queen from 5-8 PM and a % of the proceeds 
will be donated to For Jamie's Sake

May 16-23rd

Nationally this week is being dedicated to praying for children in foster 
care, social workers, judges, and foster parents. Please ask your church
to recognize and set up special prayer services for the over 
500,000 children in the United States foster care system.

    There are many ways to help:

        *place flowers on the altar at your church

        *ask your Sunday school, women's group, or youth group to say a special prayer

        *join arm and arm in your congregation during your regular service to lift the children in prayer

        *hold a candlelight vigil for the children in foster care

        *collect personel hygiene items, pillowcases, Bibles, etc. to donate to For Jamie's Sake to be given to the children in foster care

The children in foster care think that they 
don't have a prayer, let's change that!!

May 16-23rd

Zanzi's fundraiser
For every large pizza or more purchased and flyer returned

(call For Jamie's Sake for a flyer) this week, Zanzi's (on 13th Street 324-1400) 
will donate $1.00 to For Jamie's Sake. You must have a flyer!!

May 1-20th

Children Helping Children
Children at local daycares will be creating artwork that will be turned into lasting memories (coffee mugs, note cards, necklace, etc.). For more information about the lasting artwork please visit www.kidskreations.us

May 21st

Children in foster care essay due and winners will be announced the following weekBlackburn Ave. Church Saturday, May 31st
