The theme of the exmaples above, continues to the be same today, two fold. Adoptions take place for the well being of the child and with his best interest at heart, and as a means of accomplishing God's purpose for his people.

"And whosoever welcomes a little child like this in my name, welcomes me". -Matthew 18:5

Adoption is an outpouring of God's Grace on all involved. Families that adopt children tell them how this is an example of how God's direction an dsovereignty is in their lives. The children should feel love and comfort knowing that God planned a future for them in their best interest.
